Libero players take the next step
Under 16 player Connor Montone has accepted the offer of a two year scholarship at conference club Rushden & Diamonds, Connor had been at Libero since 2006 joining from the Northampton Town development squad. A box to box midfield player who can happily swithch to right back Monty also attracted the eye of Mk Dons who were hoping to have a further look at him. We wish him well at Diamonds and hope his hard work and determination pays off with a first team debut in the not to disdant future.
Meanwile promising young goalkeeper Ashley Foulger is in his second spell with Ipswich Town, hoping to gain a similar deal with the championship club, Ash regularly trained with now Kettering Town manager Lee Harper when at Northampton Town and consistantly shows why he is rated so highly by the Libero staff.

Under 17 apprentice Will Arnold is currently at Raunds Town gaing experience in mens football, Will is using the experince as a stepping stone into the conference and is one of few players in the game at any level, that can pass the ball the length of the pitch with either foot.
